MIND Institute's Summer Institute on Neurodevelopmental Disorders

The annual MIND Summer Institute on Neurodevelopmental Disorders is a one-day conference intended for a wide range of professionals. The focus of the Institute is to help participants keep pace with the latest advances in neurodevelopmental research and the most current standards for best practices in prevention, assessment, treatment, and support services, and increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of developmental disabilities, early identification, service provision, inclusion, transition to adulthood, and other medical, legal, social and policy issues related to disabilities.

2016 Conference on School Culture, Climate, & Positive Behavior Support (NH UCEDD/LEND)

Schools and communities continue to face obstacles to addressing behavior, climate, safety, and academic achievement. Establishing a safe school environment using a multi-tiered system of support is related to improved outcomes for all students. This year's conference theme is Transforming Practices, Strengthening Partnerships, Developing Leaders, and will include presentations by national leaders, NH educators, youth, and community partners, plus opportunities for teams to work together and instruction on cutting-edge strategies for school improvement. This event represents an intersection between schools, students, teachers, administrators, behavioral health, youth/family organizations, and community systems at the pre-school, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels.

Think College Awareness Week: College is for Everyone

Join us as we kick off the "Think Higher. Think College." public awareness campaign to expand access to college for students with intellectual disability. This weeklong celebration will take place between April 24-28, 2023 and will feature daily virtual learning events for students, families, educators, transition professionals, and higher education personnel. All events are free and open to the public.
