Spectrum of Developmental Disabilities XXXIV: ADHD: Too Broad? Too Narrow?

The Spectrum of Developmental Disabilities activity will provide an interdisciplinary approach to the issues of ADHD. This multidisciplinary course will review ADHD, including epidemiology, genetic and neuroimaging issues, diagnostic overlaps, associated dysfunctions, evaluation and management, outcomes and future directions.


2012 CAAI Webinar Series

Cluster Analysis: MCHB's EnRICH Webinar Series

This webinar will be focused on latent class cluster analyses (LCCA). LCCA is a model based cluster analysis method used to identify subtypes of related cases (latent classes) from categorical, ordinal, and continuous multivariate data. It provides a way of identifying latent segments (types) for which parameters in a specified model differ.

The Southeast Regional Consortium and AUCD Presents: Managing Dental Care for Patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder

This webinar is one of a series of webinars developed by LEND and UCEDD programs within the Southeast Region Consortium. The objectives of this webinar are to: 1. CAAI Webinar: Improving Family Involvement for Children & Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders through the Combating Autism Act Initiative

This webinar is the second of the Combating Autism Act Initiative (CAAI) webinar series, Research to Practice, and will highlight strategies to improve families involvement through the CAAI. The CAAI webinar series is designed to showcase successes of CAAI grantees, connect attendees to CAAI grantees, and highlight CAAI activities. The series runs from April through August 2012 and will replace the annual face-to-face CAAI conference. Webinars are targeted to CAAI grantees, but open to all.


10th Annual Conference on Health, Disability, and the Law: Obesity Bias and Bullying

This conference will discuss the bias and bullying experienced by obese children as well as adults, policy and legal solutions to address weight discrimination, identify community factors that impact obesity, and share Indiana success stories in treating obesity.


2012 National Transition Conference: College and Careers for Youth with Disabilities

This important conference will provide a forum for the development of an action agenda, bring together critical partners in the transition community to exchange innovative ideas and approaches; demonstrate knowledge gained from policy implementation; share transition practices and research findings; and promote and facilitate the development of networks and relationships.


Autism - You Do See it First: How to Recognize, Screen, Refer

The conference is intended to educate primary care providers on routine developmental surveillance and screening for autistic spectrum and related neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD/NDs), thus increasing timely and accurate diagnosis of ASD/NDs.
