HRSA DataSpeak Series - Healthy People 2020: the Next Generation of MCH-related Focus Areas

Preparing a Successful Manuscript: MCHB's EnRICH Webinar Series

During this interactive webinar, participants heard from two leading editors in the MCH field about how to prepare a successful manuscript for publication. This session described the organization and key elements of a research paper. It considered both quantitative and qualitative presentations and suggestions regarding making a paper ready for submission.

This trainee-led webinar is for trainees who both did and didn?t attend the 2011 Disability Policy Seminar. The trainees presenting this webinar will recap this year?s DPS by sharing products, presenting their experiences meeting with representatives on Capitol Hill, and reviewing what they learned during the sessions and plenaries about policy/legislation.

Health Care Transition for Youth with Special Health Care Needs

This webinar presents findings from a January 2011 report, "Health Care Transition for Youth with Special Health Care Needs" published by Got Transition? The National Health Care Transition Center. The report authors, Peggy McManus and Katherine Rogers of the National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health, will discuss their analysis of national and state transition outcome data from the 2005-06 National Survey of Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs.

Leadership and Advocacy: Trends and Challenges in Maternal and Child Health

The South Central Public Health Training Center and UAB?s Maternal and Child Health Leadership Education Program in partnership with the Alabama Department of Health are jointly presenting this webinar. Over the years, though changes have occurred, Title V remains the oldest federal program dedicated to the health of all mothers and children. Leadership & Interdisciplinary Collaboration; a Webinar from the MCHB/AUCD LEND Pediatric Audiology Training Program (Part 1 of 3)

This first of three webinars identified activities designed to promote leadership, cultural diversity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family-centered services among pediatric audiology trainees. Participants learned about challenges faced by LEND audiology programs and strategies used to address these challenges. Webinar participants also received information on useful resources and research developed by recipients of the LEND Pediatric Audiology Training Sub-awards.
