What is the AUCD Leadership Academy?

The Academy includes an online intensive experience that lasts one week. The intensive experience means that participants will meet daily for one week. During this experience, program participants will:

  • focus on developing their skills; work with other Academy participants, staff, local coaches, and national allies in virtual meetings;
  • focus on exploring shared values;

  • look at their strengths and skills as leaders; and
  • make personal and professional leadership goals.

When will the AUCD Leadership Academy take place?

The dates for the week-long intensive will be Sunday, June 19th through Friday, June 24th. The online intensive will meet via Zoom from 11:30 am through 5:00 pm (EST) and will include multiple breaks. (Each day will begin with an optional opportunity for mindfulness/meditation at 11:00 am EST).

There will also be six (6) pre-Academy webinars. These will take place before the week-long, online intensive experience. The webinars introduce important leadership themes.
