Thursday, November 4, 2021
6:00 - 7:30 p.m. ET
Location: Webinar

A year and a half later, we're still grappling with a global pandemic and its sometimes deadly effects. There are currently three vaccines available to the public to help the body build immunity to the virus that causes COVID-19. According to current statistics, only 56.4% of the United States population is fully vaccinated. There is a lot of misinformation surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine. Most people are concerned about its effectiveness, the side effects, and the speed at which it was offered to the public.

We are delighted to host a conversation with health professionals to address the misinformation and concerns associated with the COVID-19 vaccine. Our panelist will discuss COVID-19 variant combinations, COVID-19 vaccines for children, and COVID-19 vaccine boosters.

We are honored to have the following panelist in our upcoming webinar:

  • Joynetta Kelly,Public Health Analyst (Team Lead), Community Engagement and Health Equity Consultation (Adult Immunization Program), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Pamela Meija, MS, MPH, Head of Research, Berkeley Media Studies Group
  • Dr. Mary McIntyre, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer for the State of Alabama
