The AUCD Council for Community Education and Dissemination and Communications SIG are co-hosting a webinar on the impact of Social Media for UCEDDs with guests Matt Gianino from the Institute on Disability of University of New Hampshire and Mark Crenshaw from the Center for Leadership at Georgia State University. The will discuss how to use social media within the context of a UCEDD, why social media isimportant, how impact is made and how to measure use, especially for NIRS.

Presenters:

Headshot Matthew GianinoMark Crenshaw joined Georgia State University in June of 2011 as the Director of Interdisciplinary Training. Mr. Crenshaw has a career interest in community capacity building and inclusion. Mark graduated with a BA in Religion from Oklahoma City University and a Masters in Theological Studies from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Prior to coming to Georgia State, Mr. Crenshaw was the Executive Director of Interfaith Disability Network, a program that seeks to identify and share the gifts of individuals with disability labels in congregational and community settings.

 

Matthew Gianino has 15 years' experience turning around undervalued organizational brands in the education, nonprofit, and social enterprise sectors. With the unique combination of expertise in management, community engagement, design, marketing and communications, Matt has played a significant role in nurturing the growth, reputation and impact for each organization he has been a part of. He has been actively engaged in the digital revolution and is considered an expert on its impact on communications strategy and best practice. With several presentations to his credit, Matt is frequently invited to discuss communications strategy at regional and national conferences. Beyond his role at the University, Matt serves on a number of boards and committees on campus and in the community.
