3:00pm EST - 4:30pm EST

Universal Course Design is a professional development concept that strives to make learning accessible to all students, no matter their individual backgrounds. This webinar will provide advanced strategies employed by UCD with a focus on the four key principles: curriculum, instruction, assessment and environment. There will be examples and case studies for participants to apply the concepts learned, and explore the impact of applying UCD strategies. Participants are encouraged to bring specific challenges they have experienced when trying to bring Universal Design to their work. Participants will leave with multiple UCD resources, including strategies to create cross-campus, sustainable initiatives for improving teaching and learning. The webinar assumes that participants have a general knowledge of Universal Course Design.
