Highlights include recommendations on shaping early communication, augmentative communication, adaptive seating to support communication, impact of drooling on communication and strategies to address it, and much more.

Course Description

Our ability to communicate is essential for learning and socialization. Children with physical disabilities face many communication challenges. This one-day conference explores a range of key issues that must be tackled to give young children with significant disabilities the best opportunity to successfully communicate at home, at school, and with their friends.
