About the Webinar:
The participants in this Webinar gained an understanding of the deficits and clinical findings of autism/ autism spectrum disorders in young children, the importance of early identification, strategies for screening for autism in young children, and medical and nutritional issues in autism. The participants were introduced to various controversies in the media about the causes and treatments of autism and the autism epidemic. Participants will come away with increased awareness of the role they can play in improving early identification of autism by helping  families  view child development as an important element of  growth and health, and by  serving as a resource to families when a developmental concern arises.
