Distance Learning: The Shriver Center has capitalized on the strengths and expertise of its faculty and staff, including obtaining grants from the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services   and the National Institutes of Health, to develop a comprehensive set of distance learning courses. These courses have been carefully designed to meet the education and training needs of diverse professionals, paraprofessionals and parents as they seek to better serve the needs of persons with disabilities nationally and abroad.
