In it's 8th year, the EHDI conference has built a strong reputation for bringing together a wide variety of attendees including those who: work in state Early Hearing Detection and Intervention programs; assist in EHDI efforts on the federal level; provide screening, diagnostic and early intervention support at the state/ local level to young children with hearing loss and their families; champion Medical Home activities within each state; are parents of children with hearing loss; or are deaf or hard-of-hearing adults who are helping to expand opportunities for young children with hearing loss. EHDI conference participants will range from state and local programs to the federal level and from academics to families.

Pre-session on Auditory Neuropathy Spectrum Disorder (ANSD).

This day-long pre-session will be presented by an outstanding faculty (Deborah Hayes, Yvonne Sininger, Patricia Roush, Susan Dreith, Marcia Tabor, and Stephanie Olson) based on the latest research and clinical practice.  In cooperation with the Daniels Fund and The Children's Hospital, the sponsors of the National EHDI Meeting have arranged for this special pre-session to be available to participants at the EHDI meeting for only $75 in addition to the EHDI Meeting registration fee.  The cost of the pre-session for participants who are unable to stay for the EHDI conference will be $150. Parents of children with hearing loss can attend the pre-session for free.

All participants will receive a professionally-published monograph which includes the complete guidelines from the Lake Como Consensus Development Conference on Auditory Neuropathy held in June 2008, as well as summary papers prepared by the speakers at that conference (Yvonne Sininger, Arnold Starr, Christine Petit, Gary Rance, Barbara Cone, Kai Uus, Patricia Roush, Jon Shallop,  Saaid Safieddine, and Charles Berlin). Space is limited, so register early by going to www.ehdiconference.org and clicking on the registration tab on the left-hand side.
