I began my experience at the UT Boling CDD LEND program as a trainee while pursuing my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition. As a staff member at BCDD, I had the opportunity to continue to engage in the LEND program as a clinician, and subsequently as the director of training. Prior to working at the Boling CDD, I gained two years of experience at an endocrinology center in Memphis. This position awarded me much exposure to diseases prevalent in our area - obesity, hypertension, and type II diabetes.

I have strong understanding of the LEND program from the perspective of a student, supervising clinician, and training director. I continue to enjoy the task of instructing advanced level graduate students, medical residents, and post-doctoral fellows in both clinical and didactic learning environments. I am committed to providing quality care to underserved populations, and have a vested interest in training advanced level graduate students in their work with our diverse community in Memphis.
