Lashanna Brunson is the Positive Behavior Support Program Manager for the Center for Excellence in Disabilities (CED) at West Virginia University.  She joined the CED in 2011 as the research coordinator for the Parent-Implemented Training for Autism through Telemedicine (PITA-T) study.  She holds a MS in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas and a BA in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Lashanna has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders with varying skill levels in the home, clinic, and classroom settings. She also has experience working with special education teachers and classroom aides to help incorporate Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals into daily classroom routines and to improve the measurement of progress toward IEP goals.

As a Senior ABA Coach at the Easter Seals North Texas Autism Treatment Program, Lashanna provided staff training and supervision to Junior ABA Coaches, developed and maintained client treatment programs, data collection systems, and monthly reports. She is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International, Maryland Association for Behavior Analysis, and West Virginia Team Autism.
