Sandy Root-Elledge is the Director of the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) at the University of Wyoming, College of Health Sciences.  In this capacity, she provides leadership for the center and has overall responsibility for the administration of the center's activities. She also directs UW ECHO for building capacity in education, health care and disabilities in Wyoming and beyond and Wyoming Assistive Technology Resources, the states Assistive Technology Act Program.  As the parent of two children with developmental disabilities, she brings this important perspective to her work. She holds an M.A. and B.S. in Sociology from the University of Wyoming.
