At the Nisonger Center, Jillian manages programs that promote community inclusion, social connections, and lifelong learning for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. One such program is the Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC), a community-based literacy program for adults with IDD. Started at Nisonger Center in 2002, NCBC has grown to become the preeminent program of its kind, with over 300 clubs worldwide. Please visit www.nextchapterbookclub.org. Since 2004, Jillian has co-developed and managed a number of innovative programs, including Young Adult Transition Corps (an AmeriCorps program), Jot It Down, Finding Me, Relate to Me, and Literacy IRL. She also serves as Chair of Nisonger Center's Social Committee.
