Jeff Sheen received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Social Work from Utah State University in May of 1999. He completed his Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Utah in May 2002. Jeff is currently a third year doctoral student in Disability Disciplines at Utah State University. He is also a Policy Analyst and Training/Development Specialist at the Center for Persons with Disabilities, where he has worked since 2001. Jeff has a particular interest in community development and has been involved in directing and evaluating a number of projects designed to improve community resources for individuals with disabilities and their families. During the past fourteen years Jeff has had multiple opportunities to develop and provide training on a wide variety of disability related issues to local, state, and national audiences. Some of Jeff's current projects include working on the Aggies Elevated project team, serving as the Project Coordinator for the USU Master of Transition Specialist project, working in the USU EmployAbility Clinic, consulting on the New Community Opportunities: Youth Transition National project, and teaching as adjunct faculty in the Psychology and Social Work Departments.  In his role as a disability policy analyst, Jeff serves as the Chair of Senator Hatch's Disability Advisory Committee and is the Chair of the Utah Statewide Independent Living Council's Youth Committee. Jeff and his family love living in Cache Valley and enjoy mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, and all sorts of outdoor activities.
