Vita/Bio
Dr. Odell co-administers the Clinical Services Clinics involving the multidisciplinary
evaluation and treatment of problems related to developmental disabilities
and certain chronic diseases. Problems covered include children and adults
with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, Tourette syndrome, depression,
neurologic disorders, failure to thrive, and others. Principal Investigator
on a grant from NIMH involving the immunogenetic aspects of autism, in
collaboration with researchers at the University of Oregon. Principal
investigator on the immunology component of the Utah Autism Project, funded
by a grant from NICHD, in collaboration with researchers at the University of
Utah. Additional research focusing on the biologic basis of ADHD.
He is Co-Investigator on a research project with the Psychology Department at USU
looking at parent training for the treatment of children with ADHD and
long-term effects.
