Vita/Bio
Dr. Beacham received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in August 2013 and currently a post-doctoral fellow training in Behavioral Nursing Research at Indiana University School of Nursing. Her dissertation, "Perspectives of Family Management from School-Aged Children with Chronic Health Conditions: Through the Eyes of the Children", was funded by the National Institute of Nursing Research (T32NR007100 and F31NR011524). Her dissertation described the views of children 8-13 years old with a variety of chronic health conditions.
