SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
A clinical psychologist in private practice with a focus in trauma work with a primarily adult, clientele. A corresponding focus includes a twenty-five year commitment to individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID). Accomplishments include the design and implementation of a mental health treatment program for abuse survivors and sexual offenders with ID, extensive publications and presentations in this emerging area, and service as a contributing editor with the foremost peer-reviewed journal on mental health and ID. Featured for her pioneering work in People with Disabilities and Families, both published by the New Jersey Developmental Disabilities Council. Lead author for APA's first book devoted to psychotherapy for people with intellectual disabilities.
