WORK EXPERIENCE
North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities, Minot ND -Research Associate, July 2021- PRESENT
Write and implement programs utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis to help individuals gain independent functional skills. Collect data on skill programs and behaviors, in order to track progress and monitor effectiveness. Provide training for parents/guardians, families, caregivers, and staff to implement aspects of Applied Behavior Analysis in home, school, or in the community.

Turtle Mountain Middle School, Belcourt ND - Special Education Teacher, August 2016 - June 2021
I provided case management for all students in grades 6-8 who qualify under the Emotional & Behavioral Disorders and students who qualify under the Intellectual Disabilities category. I taught behavior intervention, social and life skill courses, core subjects (reading/language arts, math, science, and social studies) as well as student conferences on behavior support in other school settings. I assisted with consultation for behaviors and social emotional needs during the RTI and evaluation process. I held IEP and BIP team meetings, provided positive behavior intervention support, and collaborated with parents, classroom teachers, paraeducators and other specialists.

Dunseith High School, Dunseith ND - Special Education Teacher, August 2015 - May 2016
The primary resource room teacher for students in middle school (7/8) and students in high school (9/10). With a caseload of 15 students I taught various alternative math, science, and language arts classes. I collaborated with parents, classroom teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals to ensure student success. I held IEP and BIP team meetings; and was an active member of the RTI process.

Rural Cass County SEU, Kindred ND- Special Education Teacher, August 2013 - May 2015
The primary grade special education teacher (Kindergarten through 3rd) along with all students who qualified under the category of Intellectual Disability (K-5). With a caseload of 18 students I provided mainly classroom reading, math, and social skills/behavior support. Using Positive Behavior Interventions, I collaborated with classroom teachers, parents, specialists, and paraprofessionals to ensure student success. I held IEP and BIP team meetings and was an active member of the RTI team process.

Easter Seals, Fargo ND - Family Direct Support Service, July 2013 - June 2015
Provided respite care for multiple families in the Fargo and surrounding areas. Assisted with self care tasks through assistive technology and direct instruction. Transported individuals to appointments, activities and outings around town. Provided various services from home
care/cooking to self help depending on the client and family need.

Edwin Loe Elementary School, New Town ND - Special Education Teacher, January 2011 -May 2013
As the primary Intellectual Disabilities teacher, I had a caseload of 22 students from grades Kindergarten to 6th. I planned not only an academic and life skills curriculum but also social/emotional, and behavioral interventions as well. I provided classroom support, home/family support, and held IEP team meetings.
