As an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Institute and the Outreach Coordinator for the free special phone program, Laura is responsible for providing assistive technology demonstrations, technical assistance, and information to Pennsylvania residents.  Prior to joining the institute, Laura was a special education teacher in Maryland and the Assistive Technology Coordinator for a school district in Delaware where she provided assistive technology for children with disabilties, ages preschool through twenty-one years old.  Laura recieved her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of Delaware, and her Master's Degree in Technology for Special Education from Johns Hopkins University.
