Vita/Bio

Elizabeth Turner has been with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center since 2012. She has earned bachelor's and master's degrees in English from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. Prior to coming on board at the VKC, she worked for several years as a journalist and newspaper section editor.

Elizabeth's specialization is internal and external event management. Regular projects include the Kennedy Center Lecture Series on Development & Developmental Disabilities and Neuroscience Graduate Seminar Series; VKC-sponsored and -co-sponsored seminars, workshops, and special lectures;and the annual Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Science Day. 

In addition, she maintains the VKC's social media platforms, drafts the weekly "Monday Morning Message" e-newsletter, and crafts news articles for the VKC website and VKC Communications materials including VKC Notables and Discovery print and online publications.
