Vita/Bio

Kendra Gottsleben, B.A., is a Marketing Communications Specialist at USD's Center for Disabilities. Ms. Gottsleben earned her degree in Psychology and Sociology from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. Gottsleben spearheads completion of the Center's Community Connections and South Dakota Possibilities publications, manages the Center's websites and social media accounts, emails information regarding upcoming Center trainings and events, and directs correspondence from the public so applicable Center staff can respond to inquiries. Ms. Gottsleben has also provided assistance to multiple entities engaged in self-advocacy and self-determination and served on boards and councils at the state and national levels, processes which have been informed by her own experience with a rare genetic condition. She will function as the project coordinator overseeing production of the Possibilities magazine and other print products as well as managing the website and all social media platforms.
