Alexander Santana is fluent in Spanish and is the new multicultural program coordinator for the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and Tennessee Disability Pathfinder programs. He helps Spanish-speaking individuals and families locate disability services and information in the community. He works closely with the Kurdish Outreach Program and the Hispanic Outreach Program, including the Camino Seguro database of bilingual providers, and he is responsible for identifying contacts and families in other underserved areas who need disability information. In addition, Santana works collaboratively with community agencies and institutions of higher learning to create diverse learning experiences and multicultural awareness training.
