Accomplishments

  • Acquired research associate skills through program management at North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities (NDCPD)
  • Developed grant writing capabilities and communication awareness through experience as project coordinator at NDCPD and as office manager at a pain management center
  • Gained experience in working with culturally diverse populations, particularly individuals with disabilities, in my work at NDCPD

  • Implemented and coordinated Volunteer Risk and Program Management as mandated by the Administration on Community Living
  • Gained organization and management skills necessary to hire, train and manage Regional Volunteer Coordinator staff across the state
  • Developed expertise as state and national conference speaker on risks of healthcare/Medicare fraud
  • Gained experience in research, writing and data collection which will be a benefit to the Research Program Specialist position at AUCD
