Sandra H. Arnold, PT, PhD, Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, is the PI for the US Dept. of Education Office of Special Education, Institute of Education Science grant, Validating the School Outcomes Measure (SOM): An Outcomes Measure for Students who Receive School-based Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. In addition, she serves as the OUHSC Director of the Lee Mitchener Tolbert Center for Developmental Disabilities and Autism. She instructs both entry-level and post-professional physical therapy and occupational therapy students, serving as the Director of the Doctor of Science (DSc) post-professional program. Her teaching responsibilities include entry-level and post professional pediatric and interdisciplinary content. She has received several grants and published several articles in the area of pediatrics, developmental disabilities, school outcomes measurement, and providing community and interdisciplinary service.
