    • Assists the director in program and administrative tasks. Participate in the development and implementation of programs and services to serve at risk youth and families within the Child Welfare System, including supervising programs, staff, and interns.

  • Independent Evaluator, "Project LAUNCH: Linking Actions to Unmet Needs in Children's Health" (2010)
    • Key member of the independent evaluation team for the federally funded SAMSHA Project LAUNCH program. The program evaluation focuses how well the project is achieving its goals in ensuring children 0-8 are meeting their physical, social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive milestones.
  • Program Evaluator,  "Aftercare Services: Families Reuniting After Foster Care Placement" (2002)
    • Provide ongoing program evaluation of the program's outcomes and effectiveness, including conducting focus groups with parents and examining family functioning.
  • Program Evaluator,  "Developmental and Behavioral Characteristics of Children in Foster Care"
    • The focus of this research is to determine the developmental outcomes of children in  foster care, including their cognitive, behavioral, educational, social, and adaptive functioning. Reviewed and analyzed existing data.

Fordham University, Bronx, NY(1997-2000) 

  • Program Evaluator, "The Bronx, NY HIPPY-RALLY Project: A Formative Evaluation"
    • Participated in the design and implementation of an evaluation plan of an in-school and after-school program intended to put services in the classroom for those students who need it, as opposed to the traditional method of pulling children out.   Specific outcomes were examined as well as ways to improve program performance.
  • Program Evaluator,"The Role of Applied Developmental Psychology in Ambulatory Pediatric Care"
    • A predoctoral research project investigating ways in which applied developmental psychologists can assist primary care pediatricians in dealing with the developmental/behavioral issues that arise in their practices.  This project was independently conducted under supervision.
  • Program Evaluator,"Creating a University-Community Partnership in Research"
    • A preliminary investigation to uncover ways in which researchers can collaborate with the community, particularly vulnerable populations in the community, to foster ethically responsible research.  Participated in preliminary data collection and transcription.

    • Studied categorical generalizations in order to account for why some arguments are perceived as being stronger or more reasonable while others are seen as weak or less reasonable.  Participated in data collection and information dissemination.

  • Facilitated a two-day training on Healthy Child Development and the Effects of Trauma, Belize, Central America (2009)
    • The training targeted several agencies in the country of Belize who work to promote child well being for children and youth, prevent foster care, and who work with youth and families in child welfare.
  • Contributor to Wabagari Post newspaper, Belize, Central America (2006-2010)  
    • Write weekly articles addressing topics of well-being and healthy emotional functioning.
