Dr. Jill Rinehart is a full time pediatrician with Hagan, Rinehart & Connolly Pediatricians in Burlington, Vermont and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Robert J. Larner School of Medicine at the University of Vermont. Dr. Rinehart is a national leader in medical home and has built a high quality model of care featured in the American Academy of Pediatrics monograph on "Best Practice in Medical Home" for her practical application of care coordination strategies for families with children with special health care needs. As the eldest sibling of two children with developmental disabilities, Dr. Rinehart comes to advocacy work from a very personal route. She is currently the President of the American Academy of Pediatrics Vermont chapter and received the "Green Mountain Pediatrician" award for her efforts to represent the voice of children and families in health care reform.
