Vita/Bio

A.        Personal Statement

My current role includes instruction of graduate students who are studying to become pediatric nurse practitioners.  Components of this education include developmental processes throughout childhood, care of patients with neurodevelopmental delays and their families.  I also work as a nurse practitioner in the Complex Healthcare clinic at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.  In this capacity I provide primary care to patients with multiple chronic conditions that typically include a neurologic component affecting development and daily function.  My professional experience in a variety of settings working with disadvantaged populations, has provided me with the knowledge base to enhance the care and health of my patients.  I utilize this experience in the educational programs and opportunities for the advanced practice nursing students I teach.
