Mark L. Batshaw Receives The Arc's Distinguished Research Award

Join with The Arc as We Honor Mark L. Batshaw with The Arc's Distinguished Research Award

Mark L. Batshaw, M.D., Children's National Medical Center, The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, will receive The Arc's Distinguished Research Award for his lifelong research on urea cycle disorders and his leadership and contributions to research related to intellectual disabilities. The award will be presented at The Arc's National Convention Research and Prevention Luncheon on Friday, October 13, 2006 in San Diego, California. The convention will be held at The Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina.

We invite Dr. Batshaw's colleagues to honor him by attending the luncheon. He has been invited to address luncheon attendees. Luncheon tickets may be obtained by going to The Arc's web site (www.thearc.org) and downloading the convention registration form. There is no need to register for the convention, but the form contains the luncheon ticket order. A ticket will then be held for you at the convention registration desk.
