IDDRCs Submit Letter Honoring Mrs. Shriver
On August 14, 2009, AUCD Executive Director George Jesien, PhD, submitted a letter of tribute written by IDDRC Chair Marsha Mailik Seltzer, PhD, (Waisman Center, WI) to the Eunice Kennedy Shriver website. The letter was submitted on behalf of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Centers on the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver. It was also copied to the leadership at NICHD.
We have all be touched and benefited from her presence. May her passing continue to motivate and inspire our work.
