Core Description
The Cellular Imaging Core offers fee-based access to specialized hardware and software for confocal imaging, scientific visualization, and image analysis. The objective of the Cellular Imaging Core is to provide affordable access to state-of-the-art equipment, services, training and advice for projects using microscopy and image analysis techniques.

- High quality digital microscopy with a wide range of objectives (1X - 100X)
- Quantitative, high-resolution imaging of molecular architecture and cellular ultrastructure
- Multi-label fluorescence imaging that allows intracellular localization and co-localization of large number of antigens (up to 10).
- Awake behaving Multiphoton Microscopy
- In vivo and live cell imaging over hours to days
- High temporal resolution time-lapse imaging using confocal microscopy
- Advanced microscopy methods including FRAP, FRET
- Quantitative calcium (as well as other cations such as magnesium and zinc) imaging with the confocal microscopes
