Emerging Leaders Conference Scholarships (12 available)

The AUCD Annual Conference is an amazing learning and networking opportunity! AUCD is pleased to announce scholarships for Emerging Leaders to support their attendance at the AUCD 2021 Conference.

Twelve (12) scholarships are available to offset the cost of the virtual conference registration fee ($225). Scholarships are available to (a) current trainees and (b) former trainees presenting work conducted while a trainee. Former trainees must have completed their traineeship no earlier than December 2022. Priority will be given to current and former trainees who have not attended AUCD's Annual Conference before.

Application Process 

Interested Emerging Leaders must submit a brief application online here.

The application must include the following:

1. Interest Statement: In 250 words or less, please explain how attending the AUCD Conference will help you achieve your personal and/or professional goals.
2. A current resume/CV: No more than 3 pages
3. One letter of support from your Program/Center's Director or Training Director

Scholarship Duties

1. View the pre-conference orientation video. This will be available before the conference.
2. Attend at least 2 sessions on Monday, November 15 and on Tuesday, November 16. (AUCD will provide a list of relevant and recommended sessions for trainees.)
3. Visit the poster presentations and comment on at least 1 poster.
4. Attend at least 1 council meeting.
5. Fill out the post-scholarship survey. This will be available before the conference.

Deadlines

The deadline for this application is extended to Tuesday, October 19 at 11:59 PM ET. Trainees who have been selected will be notified no later than Thursday, October 21. The Conference registration deadline is Friday, October 22.
