Virtual Event

AUCD2020 is Going Virtual!

The ongoing and anticipated long-term impacts of COVID-19 has led us to host a virtual rather than in-person conference this year. Recent events reinforce the importance of our conference theme: "Achieving Equity: Leading the Way in the Next Decade." AUCD2020 will continue to serve as a forum for meaningful collaborations around important topics, best practices, and issues that affect the disability community, our network and beyond.

The 2020 AUCD Conference will be a 100 percent virtual event, taking place December 7-9, from 12-5 pm EST each day. We will have a plenary session to start each day, followed by concurrent and poster session content. We also will have a pre-recorded virtual awards ceremony to celebrate our 2020 awardees. See the Awards page for information on submitting a nomination.

Please see the Registration page for information on our fees for the virtual conference and when registration will go live. A more detailed conference schedule will posted when registration opens.

Proposal reviews will take place over the summer, and we will notify presenters of acceptance in early September. Detailed information on virtual presentation requirements will be sent at that time.

The shift to a virtual conference involves many moving parts and considerations, and we will be working through the logistics this summer to ensure we provide the best virtual experience possible. We remain committed to accessibility and full participation in all aspects of the virtual event.

Questions regarding the virtual conference can be sent to [email protected]. We will continue to provide updates regarding AUCD2020 and any changes or new information as details emerge.
