About the AUCD Conference

At the 2015 AUCD Conference, "Growing Leaders, Driving Change," over 700 community leaders, researchers, policy makers, practitioners, professionals, advocates, and students will join forces in their commitment to change the world for people with disabilities and their families. Packed with workshops, meetings, receptions, and plenaries, this three-day conference is designed to promote innovative thinking that will catapult disability policy, research, and advocacy initiatives to the next level.

"The important work being
done within the AUCD
network and its impact
on the larger disability
movement is palpable and
the AUCD Conference is
a great place to learn,
network, share ideas
and develop critical and
innovative partnerships."
-Merrill Friedman, Anthem
First time Sponsor, 2013
The conference is strategically held in Washington, DC to attract thought leaders from Capitol Hill and the Administration, along with well-known journalists and disability advocates who work at the federal level. Recent AUCD conferences have featured Senator Tom Harkin, PBS Newshour's Judy Woodruff, high level Obama appointees, and key Hill Staff.

Sponsors of the conference will have direct access to AUCD's $660 million national network of directors, researchers, practitioners, and advanced-level Fellows representing university based programs from every state and territory. Best of all, you'll join an increasingly dynamic conversation focused on the support, inclusion, and well-being of people with disabilities, and demonstrate your organization's commitment to this population.

2015 Sponsorship Opportunities

Your partnership matters. Sponsor support ensures that the AUCD conference
continues to deliver cutting-edge content that promotes the health, education and
social and economic welfare of people with disabilities and their families. A portion of
the dollars raised will support AUCD's public policy and advocacy initiatives and gifts
over $15,000 will help us provide conference registration and travel grants to enable
people with disabilities, their family members, and other emerging leaders to attend
the AUCD Conference. All sponsors will be able to:

  • Have one-on-one interactions with attendees and AUCD leadership
  • Display your message and products prominently to attendees
  • Be recognized prominently both before and during the event with event signage, special mentions during major events, and your logo on the conference website and nationally disseminated promotional materials
  • Connect with attendees at your leisure via our attendee mailing list

Additional deliverables are dependent upon levels of sponsorship.

AUCD2015: Growing Leaders, Driving Change

November 16-18, 2015; Washington, DC

AUCD champions positive change in the health, education, social, and economic well-being of people with disabilities, their families, and communities. Positive change requires diverse and resourceful leaders who work hard and find creative ways to surmount obstacles. The 2015 AUCD Conference will examine how we develop strong leaders, support them in their work, and collaborate across the network and with partners in the field to reach our mutual goals. Whether you're a newcomer to the field or a seasoned professional, the AUCD Conference provides countless opportunities to share with and learn from colleagues and peers. All are welcome; registration closes October 30.
