The Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) invites you to be a part of the 2011 AUCD Conference, taking place November 6-9, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Crystal City, VA.

 

Who is AUCD?

AUCD is a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports the national network of university-based interdisciplinary centers advancing policy and practice through research, education, policy, and service for and with individuals with developmental and other disabilities, their families, and communities. AUCD envisions a future in which everyone, including persons living with developmental and other disabilities, is a fully integrated and participating member of their community.

Conference Giveaways

This year AUCD is providing an opportunity for an in-kind sponsor to provide giveaways for registration that each participant will receive when they come to the registration desk at the meeting. We are limited to two in-kind sponsors for this. If you are interested, please contact Laura Martin to discuss options. There is no cost for this opportunity other than the cost of the giveaways. In-kind donors will receive a verbal thank-you at the conference along with other sponsors as well as their logo on the conference website.

As an advertiser in AUCD's Conference Program, you will have maximum exposure to over 600 attendees by putting your organization's name and information in the AUCD conference program. Advertising is included with your benefits at the Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze level sponsorships.

*NEW for 2011! AUCD is now offering a full page advertising option as well as the opportunity for a full page ad on the front inside cover or back inside cover of the conference program.

• Full Page inside program $800 - 8.5" x 11"
• Half Page $500 - 6.5" wide 3.25" high
• Quarter Page $300 - 3.5" wide 3.5" high

Special Advertising Rates for AUCD Network Members! Place an ad for your center, program or initiative in the 2011 Conference program at the reduced rate of $300 for a half page ad and $150 for a quarter page ad!

All Ad specifications:

• Ads can be submitted in EPS, INDD, and PDF formats.
• All files must be at least 300dpi.
• Any fonts used in the ads must be either converted to outlines or embedded in the file.
• Ads are accepted in black and white or full color (full color only for full page inside front or back cover).
• Full page ads should include standard bleed space.
• Final artwork is due to AUCD on September 15.

 

Early Bird Prize

Companies who turn in their sponsorship applications by June 1st will be entered into a drawing to receive a free ad or double their existing ad space!

It has been 40 years since our network was founded. 2011 is a time to reflect on the accomplishments of the last forty years, to face the challenges of today, and to imagine the future. It is important that we celebrate our accomplishments in advocacy, in education, in systems change, and in promoting self advocacy. It is also important that we recognize the issues and challenges of today and develop solutions and strategies that will continue the journey. And it is important to continue to envision the future.
