Description
This qualitative research project was conducted in partnership with Project HEAL (Health, Education, Advocacy, and Law), a medical-legal partnership and community-based program of the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute. Stakeholder interviews revealed the experiences of providers, educators, and families regarding interprofessional collaboration and school-based service provision under the Individualized Education Program and findings highlighted various root causes of issues that arise in the special education process.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 3C - Education: K-12, Literacy and Learning and Behavior Supports and Mental Health
