Description
Social Marketing which draws from behavioral theory, persuasion psychology, and marketing science, can play a significant role in shaping physical activity interventions for people with intellectual disabilities which can be applied in a variety of sectors, including physical therapy and primary care. Social marketing can create tailored behavior change intervention to increase physical activity for adults with intellectual disabilities with the aim to decrease health disparities for this target population.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 1C: Health, Wellness, Recreation & Related Topics 1
