Description
Parent Resource Coordinators are part of an emerging professional role of Community Health Workers that fulfill more then a peer-to-peer support role for families of children with special health care needs. While they have the lived experience, Parent Resource Coordinators are also educated and trained, which helps them better relate and support families as they advocate and help to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 5C: Systems-level Implementation
