Description
The U.S. Department of Education funds technical assistance and dissemination projects in all states and territories directed to support individuals with dual sensory losses. The ethnic, cultural, geographic and population density diversity of the U.S. results in significantly unique statewide populations of individual with deafblindness. This presentation will illustrate how these points of diversity influence the identification and support provided to this population.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 15: Cultural & Ethnic Diversity & Linguistic Competence
