Description
Adults living with at least one disability are more vulnerable to poor health outcomes such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and hypercholesterolemia than adults without a disability. Existing literature has demonstrated that children as young as five are also vulnerable to these risks, yet very few studies have examined this issue. This session will highlight work conducted to examine health risk factors among adults and children with disabilities.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 10: Engagement with Partners
