Description

Pediatricians play an integral role in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. However, standard medical training does not include a disabilities focus.The CA-LEND has created a model that allows all CHLA pediatric residents a medium term LEND certificate upon completion of their pediatric residency. Not only was new knowledge and skills gained, but attitudinal change occurred in the desired direction.
