Description

Children with language and learning disabilities are at risk of academic failure. We examined the association between sleep problems and inattention and hyperactivity in urban, largely minority, school age children diagnosed with language impairment and/or learning disabilities. We found a strong association between sleep disturbances and inattention, as well as academic failure, in this particularly vulnerable group.
