Description
The purpose of this research was to investigate current public school hearing screening procedures used in South Dakota, one of ten states with no screening requirements or recommendations for school-aged children, in order to compare those procedures with professional guidelines adopted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and determine consistency within the state.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 2: Diagnostic & Clinical
