Description
The UAB Regional Autism Network provides free, monthly Community Education Workshops to educate families and providers on specific issues related to caring for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These workshops seek to connect underserved populations experiencing socioeconomic and psychosocial barriers to care. The workshops present evidence-based intervention strategies to caregivers and providers across the state of Alabama in an effort to increase knowledge and provide translatable skills.Back to Session: Poster Symposium 9: Family Involvement, Parenting
