Description

To increase success and permanence in the community after incarceration, high quality, coordinated services and supports are needed before, during, and after release to address mental health and substance use disorder treatment needs, employment skills, healthcare, housing, and more. We will discuss a training developed by the Iowa UCEDD that aims to improve cross-system collaboration by strengthening connections between prison and community corrections staff, state agencies, and community service providers.
