Description

Ensuring linguistically diverse families and their children receive valid developmental assessment for neurodevelopmental disorders requires medical interpreters and interdisciplinary clinicians to work as partners. The UW LEND identified training curriculum needs for medical interpreters who support clinicians conducting interdisciplinary developmental assessments. This concurrent session will guide its participants through an interactive, video enhanced curriculum developed by UW LEND for medical interpreters locally and nationally.
