Communication is key to meaningful participation in all aspects of life. For individuals with complex communication needs, access to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and treatment is crucial. This poster will provide an in-depth qualitative analysis of Medicaid denial of services and equipment, and will offer solutions tried by the Waisman Center Communication Aids & Systems Clinic to improve individuals with disabilities' access to AAC services.Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Diagnostic & Clinical Services
