Description
Much autism research is conducted with the needs of children in mind. However, autistic children eventually become autistic adults. Additionally, an increased awareness of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has led to new adult diagnoses. Our objective is to compare health and well-being outcomes among adults with ASD who were diagnosed as children (under 18 years old) compared to adults with ASD who were diagnosed as adults (18+ years old).Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Health, Wellness, Recreation & Related Issues
