Description
Most individuals with IDD want to work in meaningful, competitive, integrated positions; however, few actually do. Employment consultants work to connect job seekers and employers; however, their activities vary, and don't always include evidenced-based practices. Using quantitative and qualitative data from research with individuals with IDD, their families, and employment consultants, we present a comprehensive model of supports that enable people with IDD to access the employment they desire.Back to Session: Poster Symposium: Ensuring Opportunities for Competitive Employment
